VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Maine Baby Bears 14-under AAU basketball team will compete in the national tournament, which is set to begin July 16.

The tournament, which runs through July 24, is slated to have 81 teams from more than 30 states. The Baby Bears will be coached by Dexter’s Margaret Veazie.

More than 2,500 players are expected for the tournament, which will be played at 13 different Virginia Beach high school gymnasiums.
