Knox County posts win over Augusta

AUGUSTA – Knox County pounded out eight hits en route to a 10-6 victory over Augusta in the state Babe Ruth League tournament’s 13-year-old division Friday.

Tom Dennon and Nick Arthers paced Knox with two singles and two RBIs apiece. Jake Rand contributed a run-scoring single.

For Augusta, Zach Jacques and Craig Cameron both had two singles.
