FORT FAIRFIELD – Courtney Kennedy netted three goals to lift Hodgdon to a 4-1 victory over Fort Fairfield Wednesday in schoolgirl soccer action.
Breanne Blanchette notched one goal for the 1-0 Hawks. Laura Griffin posted two assists. Danielle Brown made nine saves on 10 shots.
For the Tigers, now 0-2, Melissa Butler converted a pass from Kandice Osgood for a goal. Jessica Barnes turned away 22 of 26 shots.
Van Buren 8, Washburn 1
At Van Buren, Denise Marquis notched three goals and an assist to pace the Crusaders.
Kyla LaPlante contributed two goals and an assist, while Lukey Gagnon scored a pair of goals. Heather Parent added a goal and Micah LaPlante and Jackie O’Hare each recorded an assist. Kasey Violette made one save on four shots for the 2-0-1 Crusaders.
For 1-2 Washburn, Angela Flanagan scored on a pass from Vanessa Sellers. Crystal Blakeny stopped 11 of the 27 shots she faced.

Van Buren 7, Washburn 0
At Van Buren, Mike Sirois hammered in five goals as Van Buren rolled.
Eric Ayotte registered a goal and an assist for the 3-0 Crusaders. Channel Wright also had a goal. Chris Lajoie, Adam St. Pierre, Scott Porter and Zac Cote each had an assist. Sean Violette made 10 saves on 12 shots.
For Washburn, now 2-1, Ben Umphrey stopped 29 of 37 shots.
Madawaska 10, Wisdom 0
At St. Agatha, Josh Michaud tallied four goals and an assist and Ben Marshall recorded three goals as Madawaska rolled over Wisdom.
Guy Michaud, Luke Roy and Mark Garcia all had an unassisted goal for the 2-1 Owls. B.J. Dufour and Jeff Ayotte combined for six saves on nine shots.
For 0-3 Wisdom, Rick Sirois made 20 saves on 35 shots.
Hodgdon 3, Fort Fairfield 0
At Fort Fairfield, the Hawks exploded for three goals in the second half as the Hawks blanked the Tigers.
Mike Wallace scored two goals and David Gray added one goal for 1-0 Hodgdon. Adam Bell registered two assists and David Carter also had an assist. Matt Allen turned away three of eight shots.
For the 1-1 Tigers, Ryan Bugbee and Ryan Babin combined to save five of 17 shots.
