BANGOR — Penobscot Theatre Company and the Maine Shakespeare Festival are accepting applications for their 1999-2000 high school internship program, according to Mark Torres, producing artistic director. Juniors and seniors work alongside theatre professionals as members of the production team.

Interns participate in various departments including scenery, lighting, costumes, stage management, and casting.

“Our high school interns make a huge impact on the quality of work we produce at Penobscot Theatre Company,” Torres said.

Internships generally last one year. Participating students must be a junior or senior, with at least a C average and parental consent. For more information or to apply, contact Collene Frashure at 947-6618.
