Hole-in-one SHIRLEY KILCOLLINS

MARS HILL – Shirley Kilcollins of Bridgwater used a 5-wood to ace the par-3, 118-yard sixth hole at Mars Hill Country Club Wednesday. The feat was witnessed by Pricilla Smith and Clara Hussey.

MERRILL BOWDEN

PALMYRA – Longtime member Merrill Bowden got his first ace on the 11th hole at Palmyra Golf Course Wednesday. Bowden used a 9-iron for the 150-yard hole. Witnesses were Ed Bowden and Kenneth King of Corinna.
