Weeks goal gives Unity win over Falcons

PRESQUE ISLE – Eric Weeks scored with six minutes remaining to give Unity College a 1-0 men’s soccer verdict over Northern Maine Technical College on Friday.

Charlie Jeremy made 11 saves on 16 shots for the 1-0 Rams, and Dan Ouellet made 22 saves on 24 shots for the 0-1 Falcons.

At Farmington, Thiago Passos assisted on a pair of first-half goals to spark National American University (S.D.) over the University of Maine-Farmington in the opener for both schools.

Patrick O’Driscoll, Gilberto Gewehr, Arthur Balterico, and Turker Sus scored for NAU. Kevin Broca made four saves on eight shots.

Pher O’Neil tallied for the Beavers, and Ben Blouin had nine saves on 21 shots.
