Hammer the van

It was reported on the 11 o’clock news that the van that hit author Stephen King earlier this year and was subsequently purchased by him for $1,500 will probably get its just rewards. Apparently King is going to take a sledgehammer to it. More an likely there are a lot of King’s friends and fans who would be more than willing to assist him and be happy to pay for the opportunity to do so.

I’d like to suggest that he consider doing just that and contribute any funds raised to a worthy cause. One that comes to mind is the project currently being undertaken by the Glenburn Volunteer Fireman’s Association to raise funds for the purchase of a Thermal Imaging Camera. This project could use and deserves a lot of support.
