WOOLWICH – Ian Gallant recorded three goals and provided an assist to lead Islesboro to a 5-2 schoolboy soccer win over Chop Point Thursday.

Ben Roberts and Ryan Grindle added a goal each. Tiger Bell and Ian Gallant combined for six saves on eight shots for 7-1 Islesboro.

Tyler Hodgkins and Tim Irons each scored unassisted goals for 4-4 Chop Point. Sam Woodman saved 15 of 20 shots.

Penquis 5, Schenck 0

At East Millinocket, Jeremy Allen paced the Patriots with four goals.

Mike Perkins notched a goal late in the second half assisted by George Ellsworth. Bud Webb, Eric Ballash and Levi Ladd assisted on Allen’s scores. Ben Knapp saved 13 of 13 shots to earn the shutout for 9-2 Penquis of Milo.

Mike Rossignol and A.J. Gagnon combined for 14 saves on 19 shots for the 5-7 Wolverines.

Winslow 4, Mount View 0

At Winslow, Jason Hartoush and Matt Oliver scored unassisted goals in the Black Raiders’ victory.

Jared Delile notched a goal off a Hartoush assist while Brian Kimball scored off a Delile assist. Jon Palumbo stopped 10 of 15 shots for 3-9 Winslow.

Dan Pellerin saved 12 of 24 shots for 2-9-1 Mount View of Thorndike.

JV: Mount View 2-0

Searsport 3, Bucksport 0

At Bucksport, Ben Relyea and Joe Ogden combined to make 10 saves on 13 shots as Searsport improved to 13-0.

Joey Light scored unassisted for Vikings, while Tucker Mercier scored off an Arron Ward assist and Barry Tripp added a goal off a Pasco Grove assist.

Kyle Howard saved 12 of 18 shots for the 3-11 Golden Bucks.

Girls soccer

BC Patriots 8, DI-Stonington 0

At Bangor, Danielle Miller scored three goals, two unassisted, in the Patriots’ shutout.

Rachel Sage added a goal and assisted Miller. Andrea Sage, Laura Johnson, Jessica Ossinger and Heidi Mead notched a goal apiece. Lee-Ann Trottier and Kendill Snow combined for five saves on six shots for 7-3-1 Bangor Christian.

Morgan Sickles stopped 24 of 34 shots for 2-8-1 Deer Isle-Stonington.

Bangor 5, MDI 0

At Mount Desert, Melissa Achorn recorded two goals and three assists in the shutout.

Lauren Quaglia scored off an Achorn assist. Jana Savage assisted in Achorn’s goals. Katherine Miller saved three of five shots for the 8-1-2 Rams.

Hillary Johnson stopped six of 17 shots for the 2-5-4 Trojans.

Old Town 1, John Bapst 0 (OT)

At Bangor, Kristen Tracewski scored the Indians’ lone goal in overtime to earn the victory.

Mallory Brown assisted Tracewski. Justine Ferland saved six of 13 shots for 10-1 Old Town.

Ashley Cluff saved 12 of 15 shots for the 3-7-1 Crusaders.

Lee 4, So. Aroostook 2

At Lee, Deidra Ham scored three goals to lift the Pandas.

Casey Pickering also scored and Tori Nute stopped 11 of 13 shots for 7-3-1 Lee Academy.

Field hockey

Nokomis 3, Central 2

At Corinth, Mandi Foss scored the game-winner in the first overtime period as the Warriors edged the Red Devils.

Liz Mendell and Foss each added an unassisted goal. Veronica Gilbert saved seven of 10 shots for 7-2 Nokomis of Newport.

Crystal Strout and Katie Achorn notched an unassisted goal apiece. Julie Clement stopped 13 of 16 shots for 4-7 Central.

Hermon 7, John Bapst 2

At Hermon, Tonya Laughlin had two goals and three assists, and Erin Lucey added two goals to lead the Hermon Hawks to the win.

Barb Frost had a goal and two assists, Monica Rowe added a goal and an assist, and Jessica Rowe added a goal for the 7-4 Hawks. Kacie Hutchinson saved 16 of 18 shots.

Erin Young scored and Catherine Delvecchio assisted on both goals. For the 3-7-1 Crusaders, Kitty Sullivan had 26 saves on 33 shots.

JV: Hermon 1-0

Stearns 2, PCHS 0

At Millinocket, Shannon Sirois recorded a goal and an assist in the victory for the Minutemen.

Candace Achorn scored, assisted by Sirois. Pam Pelletier saved six of six shots for 3-7-2 Stearns.

Kalli Pulkkinen saved 10 of 12 shots for the 8-3-1 Pirates of Guilford.
