We would like to suggest that the corridor proposed by Bangor Hydro for its new transmission line be moved. The area through which the line would pass is a significant remote, undeveloped area containing important natural resources and with aesthetic and recreational potential.
Since there is an existing corridor, we see no reason for cutting a new one, especially since it would do considerable damage to dwindling natural resources which are so important to us all. If the line is to be built, it should go along the existing corridor which goes through a more heavily developed area. Bob and Mary Haven Dresden
