The message of the classic film `It’s a Wonderful Life” was a simple but profound one, demonstrating how one person’s life can affect the lives of so many others.

We recently have good goodbye to two such individuals: Dr. Robert Kellogg and Arthur Eaton Jr. Both of these men had a true understanding of how giving of themselves, they could make life better for others and make this area a special place to live.

For those who knew Dr. Kellogg and Mr. Eaton, not only are we blessed with wonderful memories but we also can still see how they inspired others in the community, and hopefully will help many young people aspire to live their lives to the fullest.

“Artie” and “Dr. Bob,” thank you for all you’ve done. We’ll miss you. Christopher Olsen Bangor
