At Pittsfield, Nikki Luce scored all six of her points in the third to help spark a 16-6 third-quarter surge as the Huskies beat the Raiders.

Amanda Leavitt tossed in a game-high 22 points and handed out six assists for Maine Central Institute. Jessica Thompson added 11 points.

At Newport, the Warriors played tight man-to-man defense and Laura Pelkey hit three 3-pointers in the second quarter en route to the win over the previously unbeaten Witches.

Danielle Clark led Nokomis with a game-high 16 points, Pelkey finished with 11, and Tonya Clay had nine.

Allison Wing topped Brewer with 14 points, and Jenny Higgins added nine.

At Hampden, Jamie Wells tied things up in the last two seconds of regulation time by making 3-of-4 foul shots. Wells also netted four of the six total points made by Hampden in overtime.

Megan Magoon and Lena Caron contributed to the Broncos’ win by scoring 18 and 12 points, respectivly.

Alison Smith, though defensed well most of the second half, scored 18 points for the Bangor Rams.

Andrew Leach had 19 points for the winners while Elek Miller had 16 points, 12 rebounds, five blocked shots and four assists. Bolduc contributed 13 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and three steals, Ryan Grindle scored 13 points and Gallant finished with 12.

Adam Turner and Paul Parent had 19 points each for Averill and Greg Carter hauled down seven rebounds to go with his seven points.

At Alfond Arena in Orono, goalie Jayson Morrison recorded a shutout for 6-2 Stearns of East Millinocket.

Doug Morrison notched a goal and offered an assist for the winners. Justin Cummings, and Matt Michaud also scored for Stearns. Ryan Sweeney, and Derek Helstrom each gave an assist.

Goalie Julian Kaelin made 26 saves on 29 shots for the 5-3 Hampden Broncos.
