Braves top Owls with balanced offense> Husson takes advantage of free-throw chances

PRESQUE ISLE – A balanced scoring attack for Husson College and foul trouble for the University of Maine-Presque Isle translated into a 74-69 men’s basketball win for the Braves Wednesday night.

UMPI committed 21 of its 30 fouls in the second half, giving the Braves 35 free throws.

Quinson Lancaster, Adam King, and Brad Olsen each scored 12 points to lead the Braves. Randy Fletcher had 10.

Matt Townsend led the Owls with 15 points and five assists. Ethan Birmingham had 14 points, Justin Norwood 12, and Jeffrey Joseph grabbed 10 rebounds.
