ORONO – The University of Maine has made changes in its athletic schedule that will affect the men’s basketball and hockey teams.

On Sunday the men’s hockey game at New Hampshire has been moved to 3 p.m. in order to accommodate Fox Sports Net New England, which will broadcast the game.

The men’s basketball team’s contest against Northeastern Monday has been changed from a road contest to a home game. Tipoff will be at 7:30 p.m. at Alfond Arena. The Bears will travel to Boston to face the Huskies on Feb. 24 for an 8:15 p.m. game.

Also, the men’s basketball team’s final game of the year, a contest against Boston University, has been moved to from Feb. 26 to Feb. 27. That game will begin at noon and will be broadcast as part of the America East television package.
