Bangor-area Shop ‘n Save stores should examine their policy of cramming aisles with baskets, bins and racks of impulse buy items. These unnecessary obstacles are a nuisance to get around at the best of times. During a busy time of the day when the store is filled with shoppers, they become a hazard.
Boycott the impulse bins. Take items off the shelf and leave those bins in the aisles, full and collecting dust. Maybe management will get the idea that we would like to be able to pass without bumping into each other or knocking over a display. Then again, a few knocked-over bins might get the message across just as well. Laurie Walton Glenburn
