Sunrise DU chapter sets annual banquet

MACHIAS – Steven Pineo and Gary Craig, co-chairmen of the Sunrise Chapter Ducks Unlimited Commitee, have been calling on conservation-minded individuals in Washington County to help support the annual Ducks Unlimited Banquet and Auction. The event is scheduled for Saturday April 1 at the University of Maine at Machias dining hall. Social time and small fundraising events will begin at 6 p.m. with the dinner served at 7 p.m. Live auction and raffle drawings will follow the meal. “Greenwig” raffles and prizes will be offered for the younger supporters aged 17 years and under.

The “early-bird” raffle winner will recieve a Minn Kota trolling motor. To be entered in the drawing your dinner ticket must be reserved by March 7. To obtain tickets call Steven Pineo at 434-2722, Gary Craig at 853-6112, or Judd Bragg 255-1066.
