Players of the Week

College SUE PICARD

Sue Picard of the St. Joseph’s College softball team has been named the McDonald’s Player of the Week. The sophomore catcher hit .563 with four homers and four doubles.

CHARITY LaBELLE

Charity Labelle of the Thomas College softball team has been named the McDonald’s Pitcher of the Week. The freshman struck out 10 and gave up two hits and no earned runs in a 3-2 loss to Colby.

JOE HOLLAND

Joe Holland of the St. Joseph’s College baseball team has been named the Webber Energy Player of the Week. The junior catcher had six hits in 12 at-bats and drove in eight runs.

PAT LESSARD

Pat Lessard of the St. Joseph’s College baseball team has been named the Webber Energy Pitcher of the Week. The senior had seven strikeouts in three innings.

ERIN MURPHY

Erin Murphy of the University of New England softball team has been named the Webber Energy Pitcher of the Week. In 21 innings, she accumulated a 0.67 earned run average and had no walks.
