I am a member of the 112th Medical Co. (air ambulance) Army National Guard and we recently returned from Bosnia after seven months of providing medivac support.

I want to thank all of the gracious people of my community, to include local churches and businesses from surrounding towns, for the way they have given to the needy people of Bosnia. Being victims of devastation and destruction resulting from war, many are still living in one-room refugee camps and many children are without parents who were killed.

I was personally involved in delivering items that we in America take for granted. It was priceless to see the happy faces of the children and adults. It made me feel proud to be from an area with such caring people.

A special thanks to two special women, Mary Anne Guiggey and Kathy King, who helped organize this great, ongoing cause. Steve Curtis Stacyville
