BANGOR – Brian Campbell hit a double in the third inning that plated Tyler Muzzy and Tom Mason and provided the game-winning runs in Greenville’s 3-2 victory over Bangor Christian Wednesday in a mutual season-opener.

Mason allowed four hits, struck out eight and walked two in the win, and hit a double. Campbell finished with two doubles.

Nate Conley fanned 13 and walked four for the Patriots. Mark Reitsma hit an RBI single in the first inning and David Chrisos drove in a run on a single in the seventh.
