BANGOR – Jon Blair scored the winning run for Nokomis in the sixth when B.J. Blair drove him home on a single and the Warriors posted a 9-8 baseball victory over John Bapst Friday.
B.J. Blair also had a double and an RBI, Joe Mendell hit two singles and and RBI while Brandon Cossar and Pat Morse each hit two singles.
For John Bapst, Andy Tremble had two singles, a double and two RBIs while Ryan Logan helped out by hitting a single, a double and driving home three.

Crocker struck out seven and walked one. Brian Bellemare contributed a double, two singles, three runs and three RBIs for the Ponies. Kyle Wentworth added two singles, three runs and three RBIs, while Chris Walker singled twice and knocked in two runs.
Andrew Hagemeyer broke up the perfect game with a walk and Josh Shorey followed with a single for the Hawks.

At Old Town, Casey Powers and Randy Rand posted RBI singles to highlight a five-run second inning which propelled the Indians to the victory.
Matt Ouellette hit two doubles and had an RBI for Old Town, Powers finished with three singles and two RBIs, Sean McAuley added two singles and two RBIs, and Benn Clark rapped three singles.
Ryan Brown’s no-hitter was broken up with one out in the fifth inning on a double by the Red Riots’ Brian Caggiano, and Daryl Watson added a single.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Jeremy Karam ran his record to 4-0 with a three-hit, 13-strikeout, four-walk performance against a tough Bucks team.
Bucksport threatened early by loading the bases in the first with two outs, but a strikeout by Karam prevented any damage. In the fourth, Justin Libbey led off with a single for Bangor and, after two infield popups, scored on Andy Sullivan’s deep liner to left of the outfielder’s head.
For the Golden Bucks, Justin Barnes and Abram Allard singled for the only hits. Craig Harvey was the tough-luck loser with a two-hitter.
Matt Anderson’s single was the only other hit for unbeaten Bangor.

Monica Rowe and Stefanie Poole each had two singles and an RBI for the Hawks. Amy Porter added a double.

Mitchelle Doyon singled twice for Penobscot Valley of Howland. Lindsay Wakefield added an RBI single.
