The Maine Novas U-18 girls soccer team, fresh off their Dartmouth Cup Championship, won the 2000 Snickers State Cup played at Colby College in Waterville.

The Novas defeated the defending state champion Southern Maine Premier Extreme 1-0 and 3-2, earning the state championship and a trip to the Region I tournament to be held July 1-5 at the University of Rhode Island.

The Novas finish the spring season at 8-0-2.
