I don’t have a computer and I don’t want one. What I really want is to hear that Stephen King will not have his future novels available only on the Internet. Call me old-fashioned, but when I read a book I like to relax in my recliner and not sit in front of a computer screen.
I have read every word that Stephen King has written, and I find it difficult to accept the fact that I shall never own or read “Riding the Bullet.”
In today’s technological advances it is inconceivable that Internet availability is the route that many authors shall be taking. Of course, I don’t care about “many authors.” I care about the future works of Stephen King. I should like to continue to add to my library of King’s works, many of which are first editions.
At this point in time I can only sit back and await the news as to what lies ahead with Stephen King, his novels, the Internet and book stores. I would certainly opt for the latter. William C. Chatkin Hagerstown, Md.
