ROCKLAND – Wade Oliver pitched a 13-strikeout no-hitter to pace Rockland over Waldo County 7-0 Sunday for the District 2 Little League championship for ages 11-12.
Rockland and the other District champions will begin play for the state title July 29 in Westbrook.
Both Steve McGuire and David Benner singled twice with an RBI while Ben Sturks belted a home run for Rockland.

For Saco, Maria Arobatsis and Melinda Doissoneult registered a single each.
