BANGOR — An Orrington woman who earlier pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $14,000 from her former employer, the Bangor Federal Credit Union, was sentenced Tuesday to 60 days in prison.

Jennifer Wyman, 25, also was ordered to repay $14,350 to the financial institution representing amounts she embezzled over a two-month period beginning in March 1999.

Chief U.S. District Judge D. Brock Hornby presided at the sentencing, which took place at U.S. District Court on Harlow Street.

Previously released on an unsecured bond, Wyman was ordered to report to a facility picked by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons on Aug. 25.
