7-year-old Saco boy dies in bike accident

SACO — A 7-year-old boy lost his life in a bicycling accident in front of his home.

Weston K. Pierson rode his bike out of his driveway Friday afternoon into Bradley Street and into the path of an oncoming car, police said.

Pierson suffered internal injuries and was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he died later that night.
