AUGUSTA – The school program brochure for the 2000-2001 school year has just been issued by Old Fort Western, the 1754 historic landmark on the Kennebec River.

The brochure describes 24 pre-scheduled programs available statewide to public schools, private schools, home schools and other groups and organizations interested in history.

Old Fort Western school programs are available at the fort from September through November and from April through June. They are also available year-round at the fort’s learning gallery at the city hall, in school classrooms or where home schools or other groups meet statewide.

The complete brochure is available on the Fort’s Web site at www.oldfortwestern.org and copies are also available by calling the fort at 626-2385.
