Thibodeau wins 95 Pro Stock race

HERMON – Pat Thibodeau of Winteport won a racing duel with Stetson’s Scott Modery to highlight the Pro Stock feature race at Speedway 95 Saturday night.

The two ran side-by-side for 11 laps after a lap 21 restart, but Thibodeau got the upper hand after the two cars rubbed fenders and Modery’s car lifted while trying to regain control of his car.

Modery finished second while Duane Seekins of Stockton Springs was third. Glenburn’s Scott Alexander and Gouldsboro’s Jamie Watson rounded out the top five.

Saturday’s limited sportsman and super street races were both postponed due to rain and will run with the regular show next Saturday.
