A story on Page B2 of Wednesday’s paper concerning crowding at Bangor High School mischaracterized the number of students from other towns who pay tuition to attend Bangor public schools. Superintendent Robert “Sandy” Ervin projects tuition-paying students will compose 13.4 percent of the student body at Bangor High this year. If the projection is correct, the number of tuition-paying students will be 35 percent more than last year’s number.
