DOVER-FOXCROFT – The final meeting of 2000 of the Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, in the Community Roomof Thayer Parkway on Park Street.

Speaker Jim Annis will explain what it was like to live in Maine in the 18th and 19th centuries. The public is welcome.
