BELFAST – Lindsay Bryant scored three goals, including the game-winner with 12:05 left in the game, as the Belfast girls soccer team earned a 3-2 victory over Erskine Academy Wednesday in high school action.
Maria Jones and Gillian Brundage registered assists for 8-3-2 Belfast. Mylie Collins stopped 18 of the 20 shots she faced.
Erskine’s Kristin Fox recorded a goal and added an assist. Leslie Gosselin scored and Carla Emerson had an assist. Alicia Pushard made 24 saves on 30 shots for the 10-2 Eagles of South China.

Dexter 2, Penquis 0
At Dexter, Briley Belanger saved 10 of 18 shots to notch the shutout for the Tigers.
Amber Cooper and Patrice Payne each scored a goal for 9-2-1 Dexter. Angie Hogan had an assist.
Amanda Martin made 19 saves on 26 shots for the 6-6 Patriots of Milo.

At Camden, Karinna Russo scored off a penalty kick to help the Windjammers blank Mount View.
Abbie Price scored off a Laura Gross assist for the ‘Jammers. Toni-Lynn Robbins made four saves on 10 shots.
Emily Estello stopped four out of eight shots for the Mustangs of Thorndike.

At Hermon, Megan Garland scored on the play after a corner kick with 29:27 left in the game to lift the Hawks.
Alisa Petrello assisted on Garland’s goal. Tabby Stevens made 17 saves on 23 shots for Hermon.
Sara Lowe stopped seven of the 12 shots she faced for the Warriors of Newport.

At Blue Hill, Nikki Novak’s unassisted goal five minutes into the second half proved to be the game winner for the Crusaders of Bangor.
Nicole Yeo and Alex Waring combined to make six saves on eight shots for 8-4-1 John Bapst.
Jamie Wood stopped 12 of the 15 shots she faced for the 4-7-1 Eagles.
Hampden 1, Orono 0 (OT)
At Orono, Laura Martin’s shot from the top of the penalty box in the first overtime lifted the undefeated Broncos to the win.
Emmy Russell made three saves on four shots for 10-0-2 Hampden Academy.
Marie Lint stopped 12 of the 22 shots for the Red Riots, now 5-7-1.
Ashland 3, Southern Aroostook 2
At Dyer Brook, Amanda Martin scored three unassisted goals, including one on a penalty kick to lead the Hornets past the Warriors.
Kim Oakes made 20 saves on 28 shots for Ashland.
Ashley Porter scored off a Nicki Lyons assist for Southern Aroostook. Rhonda Chambers added an unassisted goal, and Brandi Crandall turned aside 13 of the 20 shots that she faced.

Mattanawcook 2, Central 1
At Corinth, Courtney Gulesian knocked in the game-winning goal with 6:35 left in the first half as the Lynx earned the win.
Kim Burleigh scored for 7-4 Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln in the first half. Sara McCormick stopped 11 of the 12 shots she faced.
Katie Ahearn registered a goal off an assist from Casey Davis. Cindy Dehm made two saves on four shots for the 1-11 Red Devils.
Old Town 3, Hampden 0
At Old Town, Kristin Osborne stopped all 24 shots she faced to earn the shutout for the Indians.
Shaunessy Saucier, Kendall Tracewski and Heather McLaughlin scored goals for 11-2 Old Town. Liza Saucier and Kasey Spencer added assists.
Jen Hessert made 19 saves on 25 shots for the 3-8-1 Broncos.

Orono 3, Brewer 2 (OT)
At Brewer, Marilyn Nichols scored the game-winner with just over four minutes left in overtime to help Orono stop Brewer.
Nichols had another unassisted goal for the Red Riots. She helped the cause with an assist on a Maia Pinsky goal. Jessie Newcomb and Susan McLaughlin combined to stop four of 21 shots.
Gretchen Reif scored an unassisted goal for the Witches. Tricia Hamm scored off a Caitlin Coutts assist, and Emily Goodness turned away 10 out of 12 shots.

Camden Hills 1, Mount View 0
At Thorndike, Will Dennen made four saves on 19 Mount View shots as the Windjammers blanked the Mustangs.
John Seth scored off a Shane Hall assist late in the first half for the 10-1-1 ‘Jammers.
Dan Pellerin made six saves on 20 shots for 7-5 Mount View.

At Pittsfield, Mike Nayock scored twice to help the Huskies edge the Tigers.
Chris Ingham assisted on Nayock’s first goal for 7-5 Maine Central Institute. Philipp Schieffr made five saves on six shots.
Gary Harjula scored off a Larry Baker assist for the 5-6-1 Tigers. Justin Widdecombe turned away four of six shots.
Limestone 4, Fort Fairfield 3
At Limestone, Sam Critchlow scored a pair of goals to power the Eagles to the victory.
Wade Prosper and Matt Brooker scored a goal apiece for 3-8-2 Limestone. Christian Beck recorded a pair of assists, and Adam McPherson turned away nine out of 15 shots.
For the 7-6-1 Tigers, Dominique Jose-Morales scored a pair of unassisted goals, including one off a penalty kick. Ryan Bugbee also tallied an unassisted goal. Tyler Bernaiche made 16 saves on 31 shots.
Shead 3, Jonesport-Beals 2
At Jonesport, Ben Maloney netted two goals, including the game-winning score with 3:36 left in the game, to lead the Tigers.
Larry Bowen assisted on Maloney’s winning goal and scored one of his own off an assist from John Ingersoll that tied the game with 15 minutes left. Cliff Urquhart stopped 18 of the 26 shots he faced for 6-4-2 Shead of Eastport.
Ben Durkee had a goal and an assist and Billy Merchant scored for 2-8-2 Jonesport-Beals. Abraham Beal made 17 saves on 22 shots.
Houlton 1, Schenck 0 (OT)
At East Millinocket, Peter Bates blasted the game-winner past Schenck goalie Mike Rossignol with 2:41 remaining in overtime to lift the Shiretowners.
James Skehan turned away nine of the 17 shots he faced for the winners.
Rossignol made 21 saves on 27 shots for Schenck.
WA Raiders 1, Woodland 0
At Woodland, Matt Gibson scored off an assist from Vinny Emery with nine minutes left in the game as the Raiders topped the Dragons.
Barret Craven stopped 12 of the 16 shots he faced for 6-3-1 Washington Academy.
Marlon Lutz saved 16 of 21 shots for 2-7-1 Woodland.
