The broadcasts of both University of Maine season-opening hockey games against North Dakota this weekend can be accessed via the internet.

Thanks to a cooperative effort between the University, Bangor television station WABI (Channel 5) and BroadAmerica.com, both Friday and Saturday night’s telecasts will be available on BroadcastAmerica’s web site, which also replays the 6 p.m. newscasts of WABI and Presque Isle’s WAGM (Ch. 8) for 24 hours after each segment.

To get the broadcasts, simply log onto BroadcastAmerica.com, enter “Maine” into the find/search toolbar, and then scroll down to the “WABI, sports and Bangor, ME USA” entry on the list and download the appropriate options.
