Paul Davis of Piscataquis County is one of the best state senators Maine has ever had. Paul has made many friends from good-faith people in all parties, be they Democrats, Greens, Independents, Reformers or Republicans.

He is a man who has truly championed causes of vital interest to the common good. Paul has helped education by fighting hard to help educational funding, and to stop the fingerprint madness so offensive to integrity of Maine teachers. He is offended by the numerous unfounded mandates from the machine of big government, which threaten the livelihood of local enterprise as well as the health and efficiency of our local schools. Paul’s quick attention to the needs of his constituents, his hard work, his willingness to stand alone on issues vital to central Maine have earned the respect and admiration of all. He is concerned about economic development in the area, and he is not intimidated in the least by big money lobbyists from out of state.
