BANGOR – Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Lieberman is scheduled to make a whistle-stop in Bangor today to speak about prescription drug issues and to answer voter questions at approximately 10:30 a.m. at the Opera House.
A campaign spokeswoman said Sen. Lieberman would talk about “big choices at stake in this election. He will focus on the real differences between the Gore-Lieberman plan and the Bush-Cheney plan, for making prescription drugs more affordable for seniors.”
According to a Democratic Party spokeswoman, tickets to the event were handed out to select groups and are no longer available. The Opera House seats approximately 270.
