PRESQUE ISLE – The Aroostook County Action Program will hold its annual meeting 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
The guest speaker will be Kay Rand, chief of staff, office of the Governor, who will address this year’s theme, “Passages.”
Rand’s remarks will focus on changes in public policy that have had an impact on community action in the state.
A second focus of the meeting will be the presentation of recognition awards to 24 ACAP employees for their length of service to the agency. The awards are for five-, 10-, 15- and 20-year service periods.
The board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. A reception will take place at 6:30 p.m.
