WINTERPORT – Suzanne Reynolds Pauchey of Northwood, N.H., a Winterport native and graduate of Hampden Academy, was named Female Entertainer of the Year last weekend by the New Hampshire Country Music Association.

Pauchey is the daughter of Diane and V. Paul Reynolds of Hampden. She was one of a number of finalists who competed in the Association’s annual awards program, held Nov. 4 at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, N.H. She also received the Rising Star Award for Female Country Vocalist of the Year.

The 34-year-old woman is married with two children, and is a graduate of the University of Maine. Pauchey began singing competitively for the first time last year, and was encouraged to compete again this year. Pauchey performed at the Palace Theatre with the Tammy Jackson Band.
