THOMASTON – Anyone thinking of beginning college in September 2001 should be applying for financial aid now.

Sally Daniels, a counselor with the Maine Educational Opportunity Center, will be available to assist students with their financial aid questions Friday, Dec. 1, and Friday, Dec. 15, at the University Center at Thomaston. Federal financial aid forms are available at the University Center or online at the Center’s Web site at http://maine.edu/tc

Students must be enrolled in a degree program to be eligible for financial aid. Degrees are available through the Thomaston center. Advisors are available to assist students with the application process. Financial aid is also available to adults who wish to attend college.
