THOMASTON – The zoning board of appeals will continue its review Dec. 19 of two Beechwood Street gravel pits, for which permits are being sought to bring in debris from other locations to be processed.
Testimony was heard from certain witnesses and public comments were recorded on the issue Nov. 21 after a Knox County Superior Court justice remanded the case back to the zoning board.
At the Dec. 19 meeting, the board will hear closing arguments by attorneys for all parties and will deliberate, town Code Enforcement Officer Peter Surek said Monday.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Watts Hall.
