It seems all we hear is that Vice President Al Gore is trying to steal the election. How easy it is to look at one side of an issue.

Gore has a lead of more than 200,000 votes nationally but because of the Electoral College, George Bush could be elected by Florida alone with less than a 1,000-vote lead. Florida will decide the election and the other 49 states’ votes are meaningless. This is a national election to elect the highest office in the country and yet one state is making that decision. It means nothing that Gore leads nationally and Bush leads Florida. Norman Drew Eddington
