FARMINGTON – Rachel Bard scored 11 points, pulled down six rebounds and handed out four assists as the University of Maine-Farmington rolled to a 62-47 win over Thomas Wednesday in women’s basketball action.

Megan Woodcock added 11 points. Jocelyn Sawyer tallied six rebounds for the Beavers.

Erin Lovely paced the Terriers of Waterville with 17 points. Heather Farrell and Courtney Corbett scored 13 and 12 points, respectively. Betsy Bratt grabbed eight rebounds.

At Machias, four Braves finished in double figures as Husson held off the Clippers.

Robert Pilsbury powered the Braves with 26 points. Matt Breen chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Quinson Lancaster and Scott Griffin each contributed 12 points.

UMM’s Josh Thornton led all scorers with 26 points, including six 3-pointers. Tony Heal scored 16 points and Sharrief Sims netted 10.
