DOVER-FOXCROFT – A former Boy Scout leader, who was also a former employee of the Northern Maine Juvenile Detention Center, pleaded guilty Monday to three counts of gross sexual assault.

Dale E. Greaney, 34, of Norridgewock entered the plea in 13th District Court before Judge Kevin Stitham. His sentencing was continued on the Class A crimes.

The counts stem from his contact with an 11-year-old boy at Greaney’s former home in Milo from Sept. 1, 1999 to July 1, 2000, according to Piscataquis County District Attorney R. Christopher Almy.
