BELFAST – Democrats of Waldo County will meet to mark the holiday season Friday.

Third-term state Rep. Joe Brooks of Winterport and newly elected Rep. Walter Ash of Belfast will be on hand to talk about the 2001 legislative session. The Waldo County Democratic Committee will discuss activities for the new year, including election of officers on Jan. 5.

The meeting will take place at Harbor Hill Healthcare, 33 Footbridge Road The social period will start at 6:30 p.m. and the business meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
