ELLSWORTH – The Bangor Daily News bureau in Ellsworth will host an open house and kids’ holiday fun night.

The fun and games will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at 63 Main St. The open house and kids’ night is part of downtown Ellsworth’s “The Lights Are On” Family Fun Festival.

Main Street will be closed to traffic Friday night so that families may stroll and enjoy shopping, a bonfire, musical entertainment, hayrides and a visit from Santa.

The NEWS will provide games, including Pin the Nose on the Snowman and ring toss, and children will receive cookies, punch and prizes. For information, call 667-9393.
