PRESQUE ISLE – The Alert Test will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12. in the Aroostook Room of the campus center at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

Passing this test is a prerequisite for enrollment in the Maine Criminal Justice Academy’s Pre-service Course (100 hours). Students are required to bring a photo ID and $25 cash or a check made payable to the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

There are no age restrictions for taking the test, and the test results are valid forever. The Alert Test will not be held again in Presque Isle or anywhere in Aroostook County before the start of the Pre-service Course on Jan. 18, which will be held on campus.
