The arrogance of repeating and re-repeating shows both on television and over the radio smacks of a palpable Nixonian indifference. Shows repeated on television get repeated on the radio.

Do they have any respect at all for those of us who do not worry about being politically correct or what any would-be hoity-toity members may be duped into sponsoring?

Some of that Lake Wobegone rubbish has been repeated up to four times I know about. And I try not to even listen anymore. The concept of three halves of “Car Talk” strictly for additional commercials ceased to be cute years ago.

I defy the public programmers to show us exactly how many times they have shown some of those nature shows and the British comedies.
