WOODLAND – Junior star Ashley Marble had a hand in all 24 hoops the Class D Dragons scored in a win over Class B Houlton 63-39 in the schoolgirl basketball opener Friday night.

Marble tossed in 11 hoops en route to 27 points and assisted on the other 13 buckets for the Dragons. Julia Knights added 16 points and Jessica Noyes tallied 15. Kristina Huwa pulled down 11 rebounds.

Hannah Socoby scored 13 points for the Shiretowners.
