Outlook: The Eagles are explosive although they are in a bit of a slump. They have scored 11 goals in their last four games but seven came against Merrimack. They had scored 35 in their previous six games. They battled to a 0-0 overtime tie at Northeastern on Wednesday. Gionta is a two-time Hobey Baker Award finalist. BC is undefeated (7-0-1) on the road. Maine will have to play tenacious in-your-face defense and get an exceptional performance from Morrison. BC’s defense will take chances in the offensive zone and the Bears should look to counter. They could create some odd-man rushes. Maine must remained poised in the defensive zone because the Eagles will have some sustained forechecks. BC dealt Maine a rare double-loss in Orono (3-2, 3-0 ) last season. Allen suffered a concussion in Wednesday’s game and is questionable for Sunday’s game.
