Santa fund posts 60% of its goal

The Santa’s Helper Fund has reached almost $30,000 in donations, reaching 60 percent of its goal with only two weeks left to support this year’s effort.

Consider joining the many people and organizations who are assisting The Salvation Army through this charity.

Anonymous in Bangor, $25; Bulk Mail Made Easy of Orrington, $50; Whitcomb-Baker VFW Auxiliary No. 4633, $25; Frances Bowen of Hampden, $20 in memory of Donald Bowen; unknown donor, $10.

A $25 contribution in memory of Ashleigh Yvonne Tennet from grandparents Fred and Yvonne Ford of Brewer; Lassell Comegys of Dover-Foxcroft, $25 in loving memory of Richard W. Comegys, M.D.; University of Maine Bursar’s Office, $150.
