STONINGTON – A 27-year-old woman rolled her new Ford, causing an estimated $7,000 in damage, when she struck a patch of ice and lost control of the vehicle Friday morning.
According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, Michelle Eaton of Stonington was driving too fast for the winter conditions when her car left the road and struck an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll.The vehicle was damaged on four sides, but Eaton escaped injury.
