State drug agents have arrested several people as a result of recent investigations into the sale and distribution of heroin, prescription drugs and other illegal substances in Eastern Maine.
Eric Becker, 20, of Bangor has been charged with trafficking in morphine after authorities purchased two Morphine tablets from him. Becker had previously been charged with a burglary that resulted in a fire at the J. B. Parker restaurant on Center Street last month.
Brandon Homstead, 18, of Glenburn has been charged with two counts of trafficking OxyContin after MDEA agents made two controlled purchases of nine OxyContin pills from Homstead. He is currently out on bail.
Thaddeus Jozefowicz, 20, of Bangor has been charged with trafficking in Ecstasy after agents made a controlled purchase of five Ecstasy pills from him. Jozefowicz is out on bail.
Bobbie Stuart, 21, of Bangor has been charged with aggravated trafficking in OxyContin and violation of probation after agents made a controlled purchase of one OxyContin pill from Stuart when they were within 1,000 feet of a school zone. Stuart is on probation for a burglary conviction. He is being detained on the latest charges, according to the MDEA.
Robert Twitchell, 22, of Bangor has been charged with trafficking in heroin after MDEA agents made a controlled purchase of three bags of heroin from him. Twitchell is currently being detained on that charge.
