Christmas is a time for families and giving, but unfortunately today there are hundreds of Maine citizens with special needs who have no active family in their lives.

Did you know that by volunteering a few hours out of your yearly schedule, you could make a profound difference in the lives of others facing the challenges of mental retardation and mental illness here in your own community?

If you are 18 years or older, please consider giving the gift of time, friendship and support. To learn more about these opportunities, contact Ginny Waldo at 492-1470 (leave a message), or you can visit the Charlotte White administration office to pick up an application or brochure.
