Maine players to skate with kids

ORONO – Local youths will have the chance to “skate with the Bears” on Jan. 7from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Alfond Arena in Orono.

In addition to the popular skate, selected kids, age 13 and younger, who bring helmets and sticks, will be able to shoot on the UMaine goalies, participate in skills competitions with the UMaine team, and all kids will have their picture taken with their favorite player.
